The casino where I usually play CTF uses a shuffle master to distribute the cards. Three cards are given to each player and the dealer. In addition there are 2 additional three card groups used as the cards for the community board. The dealer then burns one card from each community group thereby making a four card community board.
By doing this it appears the game changes from a 52 card deck to a 50 card deck. Does this procedure affect the calculations to determine probability and house edge? I'm pretty sure it doesn't. The two burn cards are just like all of the remaining cards in the shuffler. It's still a random deal. But 'm curious.
Oops my bad - the only way the calculations would change anything is if it were the same two cards being burned all the time.

Hm. I thought I missed out on this game. I really want to try out out sometime.
If anyone else here is in the same boat you can at least practice for free at the AGS website.
